Washington Wax Works is a collective of three encaustic artists working in Washington, D.C. Encaustic is hot wax. The transformative process of encasing, painting, baking, embedding, and collaging elements with this ancient medium is our passion.

Each artist interprets using wax with individualized technical expression, exposing viewers to new and uniquely captivating art forms. We are: David Evans, Nancy Hacskaylo, and Kevin Milstead.
